How I Work
The therapy I offer is evidenced-based and guided by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellance) guidelines, which are used by the NHS. This means that I only use the treatment that has shown to be the most effective for the presenting difficulty.
I believe that success is only achieved if we work together and are committed to finding a solution to the difficulties that you are experiencing. My passion for supporting positive mental health and wellbeing, alongside your expertise of yourself, will enable us to make a positive difference to your life.
Experiencing difficulties with your mental health can be really debilitating and can pull you away from the life that you want. My passion is to support you and improve your skills to manage your mental health so that you get that life you desire.
Feel safe and in control
I believe it is important that you feel comfortable and safe in our sessions, therefore you are in control. I will support you to create your own goals and we will move at your pace.
My clients come to me because I provide that safe space. A space that is collaborative and down-to-earth where you will be supported to identify what it is you want to change and how best to reach your goals.
Develop useful coping strategies
I use a range of talking therapies to work through your concerns and together we develop coping strategies that enable you to overcome emotional and psychological challenges, improve your mental health and wellbeing and live a more fulfilling life.

How it works
Contact me for a free 15-minute telephone consultation so we can discuss your needs and so you can ask me any questions you may have.
We will then book an initial assessment where we will talk about what you would like therapy to do for you and work together to identify goals and make a plan. Don't worry if you're not sure about any of this, we will figure it out together.
The number of sessions depends on why you have come to see me. Mostly, my clients have around 12 sessions. Some clients have as few as 4 sessions and others are more long term. I also have clients book in for one-off reviews, to stay on track.
You can either book sessions on a pay as you go basis or book a block of sessions for a discounted rate, whichever works best for you.
Appointments are via video call or telephone, which are great for working around your other commitments.
